I've wasted a lot of time in my music production career getting drums to fit the Alternative R&B beats I was making.
I've been making music inspired by Mac Miller, Frank Ocean, Tyler, The Creator, Joji, Artemas + loads more artists across R&B for nearly 10 years and in that time I realised that the drums available online just aren't made with producers like us in mind.
The sounds in kits available online needed a lot of editing to fit the vibe and groove of Alternative R&B beats properly, and I found this pulling me out of the creative process far too much and messing with my musical flow.
I knew I needed to do something, so I set out to create a drum kit that would work perfectly with the type of beats myself and my community like making. I wanted to create mix ready sounds that you can drop into alternative R&B beats and get a vibe going straight away.
Over 50 hours of work later, OASIS was born.
